I hope to bring a unique take on music journalism and to shed light on important social issues that need and should be addressed.

My Story

I was born and raised in the Washington, D.C., area. I started my education in the Spanish Immersion program, so I am now fluent in Spanish. I went to Bethesda Chevy-Chase High School in Downtown Bethesda, MD. I started my journalism career there, writing for my school's newspaper, The Tattler. I began as a news writer, transitioned to the entertainment section, and finished my Tattler career as an opinion writer. I was also a staff member on my school's yearbook team.

I am in my second year as a journalism major at Emerson College, working towards a Bachelor of Science. I aim to become a multimedia journalist, combining my passion for writing with my photography and video production skills. I write for Emerson's student-run music magazine, Five Cent Sound, and have co-founded the music blog Together Outrageously (togetheroutrageously.net). I am open to any questions or writing opportunities, so do not hesitate to reach out!
